Law enforcement charged felonies against Orange County native John Angulo following an accident that caused the demise of tricenarian Lawrence Harris. As per reports, Harris was aged 37 years at the time.
As per the local police department, Angulo drove past a stop signal at the point where Orange Avenue and Knott Avenue intersect. At that intersection, Angulo slammed into the automobile that Harris was driving.
Authorities came to the spot immediately after getting dispatch calls, but Angulo walked away from the area a while before their arrival. Harris died of the injuries he sustained from the sheer impact of this accident. Hours later, authorities found the suspect sleeping in a different vehicle situated not at much distance from the accident spot.
Angulo faces hit-and-run and gross vehicular manslaughter charges, in addition to a potential sentence enhancement as he fled the manslaughter scene. As of writing this, there is an active probe into the Anaheim hit and run collision.
