A man who was aged 30 years died due to a collision on State Route 57 in Anaheim city. Soon after the crash on the morning of July 14, 2021, dispatchers came to the area situated around Ball Road.
Reportedly, a person was operating a 2015-model Toyota Corolla, which crashed into the back of a large rig truck on State Route 57. As per officers, the truck driver was getting into the highway from the said road as he noticed Toyota’s vehicle enter the lane on the far right and traveling quickly. Consequently, the trucker changed direction to avoid hitting the Toyota vehicle, which then clipped his trailer. Then, the car got trapped below the trailer.
Local paramedics confirmed the death of the Corolla vehicle operator then and there, whereas the trucker escaped the collision uninjured. Officials are yet to release further information regarding the fatal incident, but there is still an active probe into the matter.
